Stirloch have recentlly commenced construction of the South Lismore STP which includes the augmentation of the existing plant to cater for a 2026 design horizon equivalent population (EP) of 25,000 EP. Stirloch is the Principal Contractor for the D&C performance based specification which includes all aspects of the treatment plant from design to Proof of Performance Testing (PoPT). The project includes a new elevated concrete inlet works , IDEA Reactor, Digesters, Sludge Dewatering facility incorporating a belt press, conveyors and sludge bin. Lime clarifiers, Tertiary treatment incorporating UV and cloth filters, odour control facility, administration building, control building, blower building, all pipework roadworks, electrical work and control systems.

Gladstone Regional Council awarded Stirloch the tender to design and construct of a new 0.6ML/day DAFF WTP. The project incorporates PAC, Oxidation and rapid mixing tanks, DAFF filters , process pumps and tanks, clear water pump station, new chemical dosing systems, administration and mechanical plant rooms, conversion of sludge lagoons to drying beds, upgrade to existing bore water pump stations and raw water intake, new electrical and control systems

The landers Shute WTP’s existing screw presses needed to be replaced, with Stirloch awarded the project to upgrade the plants sludge management system. The project included the installation of 2 new centrifuges into the existing sludge building, requiring the careful staging and removal of the existing presses to ensure SEQ water maintained the ability to de-sludge during the peak x/mas period. The building is to be extensively upgraded and extended to accommodate the new centrifuges, conveyors and Switchroom. Other works included a new sludge holding tank, upgrading to the existing thickeners associated pipework’s and pump upgrades including all electrical and control systems

United Care Health have commissioned Stirloch to Design and construct of a new 0.8 ML /day Microfiltration Membrane WTP at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane. The project incorporates 5 new water softeners fitted throughout the hospital, demolitions and modification to existing structures and pipework’s, new electrical upgrade and supply new chemical dosing systems and supply and install of new Microfiltration Membrane Water Treatment Plant.
