South Lismore STP Updgrade

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The South Lismore STP involved the augmentation of the existing plant to cater for a 2026 design horizon equivalent population (EP) of 25,000 EP.  Stirloch is the Principal Contractor for the D&C performance based specification which includes all aspects of the treatment plant from design to Proof of Performance Testing (PoPT).  The project includes a new elevated concrete inlet works , IDEA Reactor, Digesters, Sludge Dewatering facility incorporating a belt press, conveyors  and sludge bin. Lime clarifiers, Tertiary treatment incorporating UV and cloth filters, odour control facility, administration building, control building, blower building, all pipework roadworks, electrical work and control systems.
