Luggage Point STP – Inlet Works, Temp Bypass & Coating

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is to complete the protective coating of concrete to allow the inlet works to be covered and odorous air to be extracted and conveyed by ducting to an Air Treatment Facility (ATF) for the plant.  This entails bypassing the inlet works by installing 1200 diameter into the existing inlet main and redirecting other pumped main.  On completion of the diversion work the inlet chambers will be cleaned and coated with Calcium Aluminate cement.  All pipework will be reinstated on completion.
