Irrigation Weirs Upgrade

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The objectives of this Scope of Works are to replace and where necessary upgrade the existing weirs across various waterways to resolve the present safety and asset condition issues. The five (5) assets are:

1. Railway Weir Outlet Valve
2. Laidley Creek Weir Outlet Valve
3. Church Bank Weir Outlet Valve
4. Warroolaba Diversion Valve Outlet Valve
5. Kent’s Lagoon Weir Outlet Valve

The scope included the design and construct of the following:
Valve replacement
Identify state of existing assets using divers
Temporary works to divert creek flows
Demolition of existing weir gates
Installation of new pentocks
Install new hydraulic lines clear of flood levels
